Five people currently write and review here. Nobody is paid, nothing is sponsored, and no entry carries a byline in the running text because most entries have been rewritten by more than one person. Attribution is recorded on this page instead.
- Ingrid Sollberg
- Coordinating editor since the second year of the project. Reads Latin and enough Greek to check a translation against the original. Wrote the first drafts of Ascendant, Houses and Sidereal and tropical zodiacs, and reviews everything before it goes live.
- Principal areas: Ascendant, Houses, Sidereal and tropical zodiacs.
- Devraj Anand
- Trained in Indian practice and responsible for making sure the entries do not silently describe Western convention as though it were universal. Supplied the ayanamsa section and has flagged eleven places where an entry needed a qualifier.
- Principal areas: Sidereal and tropical zodiacs, Sun signs.
- Marguerite Oyelaran
- Historian by training, not a practitioner. Handles the historical notes and the etymologies, and is the reason the Hub distinguishes between what a source says and what later writers say it says.
- Principal areas: Decans, Elements and modalities, Aspects.
- Piotr Wesolowski
- Wrote the calculation-heavy material. Maintains the tables and checks every numeric claim against an ephemeris rather than against another reference work.
- Principal areas: Retrograde motion, Transits and progressions.
- Bea Ferrier
- Copy editor. Enforces the rule that an entry states its own scope in the first sentence, and cuts the adjectives the rest of us keep adding.

How a person joins
Slowly. The project has turned down more offers than it has accepted, almost always for the same reason: the applicant wanted to publish interpretations rather than definitions. The Hub is not a place to argue that Saturn means discipline. It is a place to record that a large number of practitioners say so, that traditional sources phrase it differently, and that the reader can go and look.
Who is not listed
Three former contributors asked to be removed when they stopped working on the project, which is their right and is honoured without further comment. Their text remains, having been rewritten several times since.
